Ummm... not too bad I guess ^_^' Nothing really surprising there. ^_^ Oh well ^_^

Anyway, good news! I completed my student teaching! Yay! I am now officially a teacher ^_^ The down side is that there are currently no teaching jobs in any of the schools I am interested in :( However, (I always have to have a good side ^_~) there was a teacher's assistant job opening ^_^ So at least I will have a job until something comes open ^_^ It will be nice to be working in a classroom. It is in the same school I did my student teaching in, meaning I can drop by and say hi to my other students too ^_^ Yay ^_^ I have been by a few times and it is always good to see them ^_^ I have to make sure they are behaving now that I'm gone ^_~

The only down side to my new job is that it is a very intense assistant position *_* I have go through some medical training because of one of the students. That had me a little freaked out in the beginning. I didn't go into nursing for a reason ^-^' After all the training is complete I will feel better about it ^_^

In other events if you have not played Cake Mania it is an addictive game that you can beat quickly! :D EB had it on sale for $10 when I went in so I picked it up. Wow, that game was so much more fun than I thought! So if you need some mindless fun check it out ^_~ Soon I want to buy the new Cooking Mama game ^_^ I completed Children of Mana so I should get a new RPG ^-^'

So my website.... I need to do something different with it. I am thinking of turning it into a CLAMP fan site ^_^ At least for all the cute CLAMP series ^_^ What do you think?

Off I go time to relax and read a little. I'm currently reading Persuasion by Jane Austen. Love might be rated low on the quiz, but at least I can appreciate and relate to a classic love story ^_~ I need to read now before my job starts soon and I get to busy ^_^'

Hey!!! ^_^ How is everyone!!!? I have missed everyone so much! They should have warned me that they do not allow student teachers to have a life :P j/k I guess it is just one of those things ^_^ But I really do love it so I can't complain too much.

Like I said life has been so busy... they don't let teachers go home! Even on the weekend. One day was a PTA night, another day we had a fun fest, and then there was a fall festival, and of course staff development training.... Of course the normal stuff like getting together lessons and cleaning the classroom not to mention grading papers ^_^' Friday was nuts the school library was closed on our library day so all day my students were so sad :( They love to read and they needed new books. I had a group of grumpy students on my hands. Not to mention a super sick kid and one who didn't take his medication that day so he felt horrible too. One I was able to send home and the other one followed me around all day. He said it made it him feel better and I was okay with that ^_^' He was driving the assistant nuts anyway she tried to take him to another classroom, but I couldn’t stand the thought of sending him away. It wasn't his fault he was behaving so badly :(

So anyway ^_^' I had to teach with the student up at the front of the class with me all day and take care of the sick student until after lunch when his mom could pick him up. Teachers have so much more than just teaching to do in a day. I never knew how much stuff I had to keep up with 0_o Sometimes it is stressful when the students are excited about a half day or the weekend or anything ^_~

At first I was so stressed out 0_o The classroom I'm in is completely different from anything I learned about in school. I had to use all the teacher's lesson plans :( It took a while to adjust to her style of teaching but it is much better now ^_^ Figuring out how she wanted me to teach was driving me crazy. Now she seems okay and I get to keep the students myself most of the day and she goes and does other things in the school ^_^

Teaching is so challenging ^_^ I still want to teach computers, but now I don't know. I really like the regular classroom. I enjoy having my own group of students to get to know and work with ^_^ I was shocked but it didn't take long to learn all their names even though I'm working with two third grade classes ^_^ Normally, I'm so bad with names. So yay!!! ^_^ *lol* Although, one student and I have a little thing going where we call each other by the wrong name on purpose ^_~ I think she started it but now it is our own running gag :D

It is funny ^_^ I have a little running gag with most of the students now. Ummm if only they would always pay attention I'd be all set ^_~

Haha ^_^ It was so funny one day I walking the students through the instructions for a test and after I was finished a student asked what they should do with the paper. I asked what part did they not understand and he said, "Oh, well I wasn't listening so now I don't know what to do with the test." *lol* I had to give him points for honesty ^_^ But I didn't tell him what to do I told him good luck with the test and next time he would know to listen ^_~ Students are so funny ^_^ FYI he did fine on the test :P Smart students rarely listen *sigh*

Okay ^_^ Well, as anyone who has called me lately knows I will tell millions of funny stories from the classroom. My students are so much fun ^_^ They are all super active it is diffucult but I wouldn't trade them ^_^ It made me feel better that the teacher said she had only had one group of students as difficult as these in 30 years of teaching. That made me feel better ^_^ since even though they are difficult I still really like the teaching them ^_^

Super good news!!! ^_^ Passed my PRAXIS II exam!!! ^_^ YAY!!!! ^_^ For people who are wondering what that is it is like a certification exam for teachers. I was soooo excited!!! ^_^ So happy news! ^_^

Just to show my classroom ^_^ I took the students faces out though ^-^ Yes, they are almost as tall as me :P They tease me for being short but I told them if they ever had to work with kindergartners like I had they would be happy to be short ^_~ We're doing a story board activity ^_^ They had fun ^_^

Baking cookies with Amy and my mom ^_^ Yes, there was a weekend where I took time to.... to have fun! Shocking I know ^_~

So Anyway ^_^ there is my life. At school, lesson planning, or grading papers. Oh, yes and working because they do not pay me to student teach :( Even when my student teaching is over I still want to go my classroom ^_^ I really do like it ^_^ At least until I find a job but I can't apply for a job until sometime in February or March ~_~ It takes that long for my license to go through. Oh well ^_^ So in a nut shell my life is school, but I'm not sure if I'd want it any other way ^_^

I hope everyone else is doing well ^_^ The downside to being at school all the time is that I miss everyone outside of school. *huggles* ^_^ Please, email me or call or anything ^_^ *more huggles* ^_^ I have a long to do list of people I want to write and as soon as I get another moment away from lesson planning I will!

Summer update ^_^

Hi ^_^ Wow it has been a while. I guess with my summer off I kind of took off from everything 0_o Lots of news though!! ^_^ First off there is a new family member…. Precious! ^_^ My mom has a new dog that is super sweet and cute ^_^ Yes, I do have a picture :D

Lets see… oh! I went to the beach as well ^_^ That was really fun. I do have pictures but not on my computer at the moment. Maybe I will post a few soon ^_^ The ocean is so pretty *_* I wish I could live there but living near the beach is always pricey ^-^’ I doubt a teacher income would let me live at the beach *sigh* Oh well ^_^ I can visit! ^_^

Speaking of teaching I start my student teaching soon! It has been crazy I have been working like mad lately to try and get all of my material ready *_* I’m not totally sure what I need since I haven’t seen the student textbooks yet but I am preparing the best I can for the moment ^_^ So much to study for exam for my teaching license. I’m excited though ^_^

In all this madness I have not worked on any new costumes :( I guess I’m semi-retired since my student teaching will take up all my time and then job hunting will take over *_* Although, I would like to choose one complex costume to just slowly work on for fun ^_^ Not sure what though… I do want to drop by Animazement next year even if only for a day. I have no clue where I will be or what I will be doing in May next year. That is such a weird feeling ^_^’ In the past I always knew what I was going to be doing but now I have endless possibilities ^_^ Yay ^_^ That will be fun and hopefully I will find a job at a good school ^_^ Still feels strange not being able to plan ahead *_*

In other cosplay news, I think I’m going to sell my mascot costumes on eBay as lot together. The same body suit is used for both so I think it would be sad to separate the two. The costumes are soooo cute though I’m going to be sad to part with them *_* as long as they get a home and someone to wear them again it will be okay…. ^_^

Before I run off I have to say…… HAPPY BIRTHDAY RUSS!!! I hope you had a nice birthday! ^_^

Hey everyone! ^_^ Yes, I have finally update my website. Wow, that is super long overdue isn’t? ^_~ I don’t have the convention report up yet and I haven’t take the May photos 0_o So much to do. Hi everyone! ^_^

Well… I’m now old :P j/k I had another birthday ^_^’ but I guess those things seem to come every year ^_~ It was a great birthday though! Because my birthday was Saturday of Animazement! I can’t really think of a better way to have spent my birthday ^_^ Lots of friends and my family! Thank you so much to everyone who wished me a happy birthday ^_^ It was nice to come home to emails ^-^

The convention was great and there were a lot of people this year 0_o Maybe it was just me but the hall ways were so crowed I couldn’t even wear a costume in the lobby area! Even though I didn’t get a chance to wear many costumes I had a great time. I didn’t get any photos with Grant’s costume :( Everything just felt very busy to me for some reason ^_^’

Now I am officially retired from hosting the Animazement cosplay! ^_^ Yay ^_^ The cosplay takes so much energy *_* Plus I hope they get someone really amazing to do it next year ^_^ Not that I think I’m bad, but I’m not much of stage person 0_o The other staff members of Animazement do so much better with large crowds than me. *lol* Like Phil is so funny running any event! ^_^ I’m certainly not a take charge kind of person either 0_o I don’t really like getting up in front of people. I only enjoyed it because the staff of Animazement is so amazingly wonderful ^_^ I really do love them all ^_^ Plus, I got meet all the other cosplayers without having to be in the cosplay ^_~ A very cool added bonus ^_^ I really do think the cosplayers at Animazement are some of the nicest people I have ever meet ^_^ Awww… I’m gonna miss everyone!!! Maybe if I ask they will let me volunteer to help with whoever is MCing next year ^_^ I’m good at running around trying to help out ^_^

Guilty Gear Group!!! ^_^ My boyfriend (the one dressed as Johnny) had a GG cosplay group with his friends and was super sweet enough to let me cosplay as his May ^_^ I know awwww…. It turned out perfect ^_^ Everyone’s costumes looked so nice! ^_^ I’m lucky my bf has such fun friends ^_^ I had a good time getting to see them again ^_^ Yes, this year I knew their names ^_~ Ryan, Alana, and Matt! ^_^’

I’m sorry Doug but I’ve found another to love…. Yes the giant plushies!!! Yay ^_^ he called and said he wasn’t coming Saturday but I was so sad because I didn’t want to wonder around the convention by myself… *Sniffle* so big brother came just to hangout with me ^_^ he is the best! ^_^ The giant Mokona was there to stand in for Chad who was busy this year ^_^

After the convention Doug staid for a visit for a few days ^_^ *lol* He really is so sweet. Taking pictures is something I have always enjoyed and he let me take all the photos I wanted. Even super silly ones! Haha ^_^ So I thought I’d share a few ^_^ I thought they turned out fun ^_^

Well, I had to post one sweet photo first so everyone doesn’t think we are goof balls all of the time…. No wait might be one most of the time ^_~’

Not sure how this idea started. Maybe it was the brick wall at my house but we had to do the mug shot style photo :D

Animazement is coming!

Hi everyone ^_^

Sorry, I haven’t posted anything lately. Thank you to everyone who emailed me or posted about the loss of my cat Pooka *hugs* Getting everything ready for Animazement has been keeping me busy at least. I have been working so to get everything ready 0_o The good news is that I think the costumes will be ready! ^_^

First off Belldandy! I have been working on Belldandy since my classes ended and I think she will be ready in time! ^_^ The only thing I have left are the gloves then I will be finished. I’m not totally happy with how the necklace turned out :( but it is still cute at least. There are a few small adjustments that I need to make but over all I’m happy! ^_^ Soon I will have nice pictures of the costume but here is a picture I took when I tried it on today.

Also, May is almost finished!!! ^_^ I thought she was finished but I tried on the partial boot cover I made and I didn’t like it :P I was tired of sewing so I was hopping it would look good enough ~_~ So hopefully I can it finished before the convention. I think I’m burning out a little after all this sewing ^_~’ Maybe favorite parts are the hat and the super cute dolphin! ^_^ That is such a fun prop :D Of course, I made May since Doug will be cosplaying as Johnny ^_^ You can’t have a Johnny without an adoring May ^_~ Here is the May picture ^_^ I was happy that the costume doesn’t need any adjusting! Yay ^_^

Last but not least, Amy told me she wanted a costume for the convention too. Okay, so normally I run from super last minute costumes….. 0_o Those are always so stressful! But for Amy I will do it ^_^’ So Amy came over on Sunday since I needed her here to try on the costume as I was making it. The costume is Peach from Mario Power Tennis ^_^ I think Amy will make a super cute Peach! I’m just surprised we almost finished the costume in a day. There are only a few more details I need to add ^_^ I just hope I can finish every thing *_*

There is my costume update before the convention! ^_^ The list of costumes I will be taking will be:

- Miaka school girl from Fushigi Yugi
- Belldandy blue dress from Ah! My Goddess
- May orange version from Guilty Gear X2
- Hikaru armor version from Magic Knight Rayearth

I was considering taking Asuka but I don’t think I will have time to wear it so I might leave it at home. I think four costumes is more than enough to wear ^_^

Well, I haven’t talk to anyone about this lately because well… I was hopping for the best and I didn’t think it was anything bad just something normal and it would work out on its own ~_~ I hate it when I’m wrong…. I found out this morning my cat died :(

Pooka has been missing for the last few days. At first I wasn’t too worried because he is an outdoor cat and sometimes he would hide for a while but his food dish would be empty in the morning. We thought he must be stuck in a tree again and I’ve been going out and looking for him every day. There is a cat door on the storage building and he has a litter pan and cat bed in there. I have been checking there trying to see if he had been there sleeping but he hasn’t for a few days. That was really unlike him ~_~

Then today I asked my dad and he found Pooka. He said he was glad I didn’t find him when I was looking. Apparently a stray dog got him before he could get to his home in the storage building ~_~ My dad found Pooka not to far from there. My dad actually found him yesterday. But I had my math final yesterday, so he didn’t want to tell me. I’m trying to get all the crying out now before class tonight *_* I’m sure I will look horrible in class but oh well *_* at least my final for that class is next week. At least I know what to happend to him ~_~ I just wish I could have saved him from the stray dog or something ~_~ poor Pooka. He really was the sweetest cat ever.

I know any of my friends who have been to my house knew Pooka he was the friendliest pet in the family. Pooka truly loved everyone and was a wonderful cat. He was my only pet who liked having his picture taken. Cosplay photo shoots won’t be the same without Pooka pawing at my legs wanting to get into the photo. Pooka will live on in my heart forever ^-^

Now I have to try to study for finals. ~_~ I just wanted to let everyone know.

School update ^_^

Fun news!!!! ^_^ I taught my first ever full lesson! ^_^ Yay I had a great time the downside is I had to video tape the lesson for my professor to watch 0_o That is a little nerve racking though. She is one of the state’s top math elementary math professors she helped write the state’s course of study for math. I just hope she will think I did okay with my lesson. The classroom teacher that I taught the lesson in thought I did a good job ^_^ So at least that made me feel better. It was in a first grade classroom. The students were so good I was amazed ^_^ They all really seemed really excited which was good ^_^ Although, they had so much fun it almost got a little out of hand ^_~ The students liked the balance scale so much I had to make them share ^_^ But I was happy the students seemed to have a good time. I know I had a good time. Oh! ^_^ I learned I will be student teaching third grade, at least that is what they think at the moment. I’m excited I like third grade. Really, I was hoping for first but that is okay ^_^ I think third grade will be great too. I’m just really excited ^_^ Also, my school gave me a scholarship! ^_^’ I didn’t even apply for one so I’m not even sure how that works. I will take all the help paying for school that I can ^_^

In other news… I have the whole summer off! ^_^ Not sure what to do with my whole summer though. A lot of my friends have moved so not a lot of people to hangout with. I will have lots of time to prepare for student teaching and for my Praxis II ^_^ I wanted to travel a little this summer but I can’t think of anywhere other than the beach. Also, traveling takes money :P Maybe next summer after I have worked and saved some money ^_^ I want to go to the mountains for a few days sometime but I need to be better shape if I want to go hiking ^_~ I always though it would be fun :D In North Carolina we have these lovely mountains and I have never really been there much ^_^ First the mountains of NC then the world! j/k I might save the world for a little later. Anyway ^_^ If anyone is bored over the summer and needs someone to hangout with let me know! ^_^ After my super busy school summer last year it is going to be weird for me ^-^

I can’t believe it Animazement is coming up ^_^ I am not sure what costumes I’m going to bring this year. For the moment I think I am bring Miaka, May and Hikaru ^_^ I might try to make a new costume too. School for me finishes up at the beginning of May so that gives me a little time to work on stuff ^_^ Hopefully, I will see some people I know at the convention! ^_^ If you are coming let me know and I will be sure to look for you and I always run around to give all my friends a hug ^_^

Alright, well off to dinner for me! ^_^ Yay ^_^ Sea food I rarely ever go out for sea food for some reason. Going out is a good excuse to take a break from homework ^_~ I hope everyone is having a wonderful start to their weekend! *hugs* ^_^

The post office is making Star Wars stamps!!! ^_^ A down side though, of course the post office is releasing the stamps right after the price of stamps goes up to .41 cents *sigh* It will still be worth it ^_^

In other news, school is insane right now *_* but in a good way ^_^ The end is near so stuff always gets a little hectic. Other good school news I meet the teacher I will be student teaching with in the fall! Yay ^_^ She will be good for me because she is very different from my natural style. I'm way too easy on students, but she is going to fix that I'm sure. ^_~ It will be really hard on me at first. I'm always a push over but that isn’t good for students. It should help make me a much better teacher ^_^

New Dollfie Costume Finished ^_^

Okay ^_^ well I have a ton of school projects I should have been working on Friday, but I didn’t ^_~ For some reason I just felt really inspired 0_o I’m weird about things like that I can only be creative when I feel like it. *sigh* If only I could turn it on and off when I wanted :( I have been doing tons of school work so I spent part of the day Friday just sewing ^_^ Bravo had a marathon of Top Design on Friday as well! ^_^ For some reason I like watching design style shows while I am sewing ^-^

Long story short I started and finished my Primera costume for my dollfie! ^_^ Yay ^_^ I’m so excited I think she looks so cute ^_^ Now if I want to wear my Hikura costume I have an outfit for my dollfie to match. Of course Grant if you want to borrow the dollfie for pictures with your Lantis costume I think it will work well ^_^ Although, the dollfie might be a little larger that Primera was in the anime ^-^ so the scale might not be perfect but at least the dollfie does look cute ^_^ *happy*

Also, my website is back up ^_^ I keep going over my bandwidth ^-^’

In school news all is going well. I can’t believe there isn’t much left. Ah, so many huge projects I still have to finish before the end of the semester. Over all things are okay ^_^ I am very excited to be finishing up in the fall. It feels like I have been in school forever, but I guess two completely different degrees does that ^_~ Not that I don’t like school but sadly parents have no respect for you until you finish college :( Oh, well I just have to hang in there a little while longer! ^_^ On the positive side of things I have the whole summer off! I’m not sure what I will do with a whole summer to myself ^_^’

So the good news should always come first! ^_^ CosplayAngel.com will back very soon!! Yay ^_^ Thanks to my wonderful friend Russ the website will be back soon! ^_^ With help from my brother as well since he will be hosting my website now ^_^ Yay, I'm so happy to have it back ^_^ It feels like it has been forever *_* I missed my site. Now I can put it back online ^_^ Hopefully, not everyone has forgotten about me :(

So very soon I will have the old website back up and running ^_^ This summer I can give it a huge much needed update ^_^

Bad news my school work has been keeping me so busy and stressed out lately I haven't been able to work on anything. No seeing friends, no working on costumes, no watching or playing video games at all 0_o If my teachers do not lighten up soon I'm not sure what to do :( It is all so very frustrating. I have so many observation hours that I just can not seem to get set up to even start. The teacher I was assigned to was supposed to email me times to come into the classroom it has been almost two weeks and nothing. I emailed her again and again she said she would let me know. I don't know what to do.

*sniffle* If she is to busy to have me in there (all I am suppose to do is stand in the back of the room and watch so I would not be any trouble). I understand she is busy but just tell me. They will assign me to another teacher if she can't do it. My observation assignments are starting to come due and I haven't done any :( I don't know what to do. If I tell anyone it might get the teacher in trouble, and I really don't want that ~_~ She is a good teacher just way to over worked. She was really nice too when I meet with her. If I say anything they will want to know why she didn't just turn down having students observe in her room. I wonder that too. Lots of teachers don't allow visitors of any kind.

The teachers I was assigned to last year loved having guests in the room :( I want to ask them to assign me to one of those teachers but to do that I would have to say the teacher they assigned me to won't let me in her classroom. So yeah ^-^' This has been stressing me out. On top of all that it has been taking up all my time. Between emailing, calling, going to the school to try to set up appointments I hardly have time for my normal assignments. It wasn't even half this bad last time. The teachers begged me to stay longer. I just wish they would have given me to a teacher who wanted people in her room. It really isn't fair to either of us. I have never had this problem before so I don’t know what to do….

My teacher tonight just gave us extra assignments so we won't be bored on spring break 0_o So if observations wasn't enough to drive me nuts they added more...

I will make it through! ^_^ Everyone keeps telling me that this is the hardest because they are my last classes. So I just need to hang in there a little longer ^_^

There goes the bad news ^_~ In short school has been mean and keeping me to busy to do anything. On the good side of things ^_^ My mom was such a sweetie and bought the white fabric for the dress part of my Belldandy costume! ^_^ I still need to buy the white fabric for the sleeves but her buying the dress fabric was a huge help! ^_^ I'm so excited ^_^ I don't know when I will get to work on it, but it is good to have the material for when I do have some time so I am very excited! ^_^

Alright, well time for me to get some sleep. I hope everyone is doing okay ^_^ and having a stress-free week ^_~ I miss getting to chat with everyone. Happy Valentines Day a little late everyone! *huggles* ^_^ I hope everyone had a lovely hearts day. I was going to post something yesterday and I wanted to email little e-cards to all of my friends but my internet connection was being mean ~_~ I tried for an hour to post to LJ then myspace and nothing would work for me. So everything will be a day late but I did try ^-^’ *sniffle* Timing and I have not been getting a long lately

My Valentine’s day was a little tiring it seemed everything I had to do took twice as long as it should have 0_o I got a new cell phone and it took forever and work took forever but it was all okay! ^_^ it worked out ^_^ On the plus side of things my brothers gave me pink roses for Valentine’s Day!! ^_^ Pink is my favorite color and I love roses. The roses smell amazing! My whole room now is like a flower garden ^_^ *happy* ^_^ It is soooo pretty! I have the best big brothers ever ^_^ Yay for pink flowers ^_^ My mom and I made dinner for my grandparents. I wanted to do something nice for my parents and grandparents on Valentines and cook the whole meal but my mom just can not give up complete control of the kitchen ^_~ I was running late anyway so the help was great ^_^ One day she has got to let me cook for guests :P

I wanted to draw something or make a cute graphic for Valentines. Maybe at the very least email all my friends a Valentines card… but sometimes things just don’t go as planed. ^-^ Okay maybe Easter! ^_^ I made a little Valentines photo and I just had to post a picture of the wonderful gift Doug gave me for Valentines ^_^ He drew a picture of us, framed it and send it to me. It such a sweet gift ^_^ I wish I could draw like that ^-^ I guess I will sew and leave the drawing talent to him ^_~

Hi! ^_^ Yeah! No class tonight ^_^ The weather was only bad this morning but they went ahead and cancled all classes instead of having to bother with only canceling half the classes. That meant I had some time to have a little fun today ^_^ What did I do? Not much *lol* My brothers were home also so there wasn't much I could do ^_~ Jonathan had the tv super loud so studding was out of the question. Mostly I watched some tv and organized some of my folders and portfolios. A little work did get done ^_^

The fun part was I took Princess Pearl photos in the snow!! ^_^ I went out a little late so the sun had started to melt the snow but I didn't want to go out when it was super cold *_* It turned out fun though ^_^ I didn't wear my Pearl Shoes so I was warm with boots on ^_~ I added the photos onto my iheartcosplay.com website ^_^ Snow is fun ^_^

Costume Ideas Update ^_^

It is the weekend! Yay ^_^ After working hard in classes all week it feels great to relax a little. Part of relaxing is planning out my new costume ideas ^_~ First off these are ideas are mostly for my dollfie ^_^ I wanted to do a cosplay with my doll next year. A fun one I thought would be to cosplay as Saga and Sugar from A Little Snow Fairy Sugar ^_^ but ideas are finalized yet on that... ^_^' Although, I think dressing my dollfie up as Sugar would be so cute ^_^ Either that or I will make a Primera costume for my dollfie to go with Hikaru from Rayearth.

My main costume has been picked out though! ^_^ I just decided on it yesterday and I have most of the stuff I need. I even looked through my pattern collection and if I use about five different patterns I think I can pull it off ^_~ I'm finally making a Belldandy costume ^_^ I was going to go with the old one from the original series that was blue and pink. I have changed my mind and I am going to go with Belldandy's new version from the TV series ^_^ I like both costumes but I don't have a lot of time between now and Animazement and I think the new one will be a little quicker to make. I also think it has a very elegant look that I like ^_^ To top things off I have a Belldandy figure of that dress so having a 3D model to go by really helps ^_~

The idea of making a Tohru costume was tempting ^_^ but I don't think I have time for both. Fruits Basket is one of the best animes I have seen in a while. I will just have to try and find a cute Yuki plushie at the convention ^_^

I was going to post pictures of the costumes but I still don't have my website back up yet *_* My brother was going to switch it over to his hosting for me but work has been keeping him really busy :( So I will have to see what I can do ^_^ hope everyone is having a fun weekend ^_^

Okay so YAY ^_^ I had some time to work on my May costume today which was great because I start school back on Monday. I wanted to get it finished before I went back but at least I am close ^_^ This weekend I made the shirt that goes for the costume, the gloves, and the necklace part. ^_^ The hat is also cutout and ready for me to sew together later. After that the only part I have left are the boot covers ^_^ Then the costsume will be finished! *excited* I can't wait to have the costume completely finished ^_^ I also bought a super cute huge blow up dolphin to go with the costume :D I also snapped a few quick progress update photos ^_^

If I have time tomorrow I will update my website with my Miaka photos and May progress photos ^_^ After I finish my May costume I will have finished all the costumes I was working on 0_o I can't remember the last time I didn't have a costume I was working on... ~_~ I'm really thinking of going with Belldandy for my next costume I'm not completely sure yet. A Belldandy costume will cost a lot of money so I just need to see if I can make it before I start ^_^ Grrr... I bought my school books this week :P It could have been much worse but still.. I'm trying to pay for all my school this time without taking any loans so my bank account is going to be a little low but for a good cause ^_~ Hopefully, I think I can work it out to make a Belldandy costume ^_^ The only other problem is having time to make a costume that complex. I think classes will keep me pretty busy once they start but I’m really excited to get back to class and to see everyone again ^_^ I miss everyone in my classes I hope they had a fun break too ^_^

The anime that I have currently just gotten into is Fruits Basket! ^_^ It sooo adorable and cute *_* If I don't have time to make a Belldandy costume I am thinking of making one of Tohru ^_^ She is so cute and a lot like in Belldandy in personality ^_^ Now if only I could find a little Yuki mouse plushie too! ^_^ So cute ^_^ Just bouncing around some cosplay ideas.

I hope everyone had a nice Christmas ^_^ Other than a lot of rain everything was good on this end of the world. It was a fun day ^_^ I will miss it Christmas comes and goes so quickly *_*

I finally had time to finish taking photos of my Miaka costume! ^_^ Yay ^_^ It is all finished and I am very happy with how everything turned out. Now I have a renewed dislike for making pleated skirts ^_~ Between measuring, ironing, and sewing in all those pleats by hand no more for a while. Yet almost every school girl style costume has one *sigh* I was just happy it turned out well ^_^ On to the photos! ^_^

Also, how can I have a Miaka costume without a Tamahome ^_^ When Doug came to visit he was sooo sweet (as always ^_~ and an amazing boyfriend ^_^) said he would cosplay Tamahome with my Miaka ^_^ So I made him a Tamahome costume which I was really happy how it turned out ^_^ It fit perfectly. I always get a little nervous making a costume for someone if they can't try it on while I'm making it 0_O I don't make many guy costumes so I was double worried it might not fit. It did and everything worked out great ^_^ Here are a few of the photos ^_^ It was hard choosing just a few ^-^ but if I posted all of them it would take forever to load ^_^

There is my costume update! ^_^ Hopefully, it won't be to long before I have my May costume finished. Oh, and I just finished finally watching all of Love Hina. I had seen part of the anime years ago but never finished it. Well my brother bought the box set and I just finished watching the series today and it is on my favorites list! ^_^ I really want to make a costume from it now and I think it would be simple. I might do that just for fun soon ^_^

New years eve is tomorrow!! ^_^ or today since I am writing this late at night ^_~ Wow, I can't believe another new year just when I was getting use to writing 2006 on everything the year has changed again ^_~ Here is my new years post early ^_^

New Years Goals,

Last year I had a goal to try and volunteer more which I did a little. I did refinish the web site for the local animal shelter and get everything up to date. I wish I could have kept helping but they changed people over the animal shelter and the new lady looking after the place was difficult to work with :( The head lady would email me and ask me to go take photos of the animals but when I would get there the lady would be really unhappy with me… So oh well ^_^ Maybe I will call again sometime and see if I can help out but at least I tried my best and kept my goal ^_^

Another goal was to finish all the cosplay costumes I had started and not to take on more than two costumes at once. That goal I actually totally completed! ^_^ I finished all the costumes I had started working on and since then I haven’t worked on more than two costumes at once. Yay ^_^

The goal I didn’t meet all the way to be healthier ^-^ So I did start drinking less soda (I like all most all types of soft drinks my junk food weakness *sniffle*) but I still drink more than I should ^-^’ I wish I could give it up completely but I think that is an unrealistic goal ^_~ I always wanted to start working out but walking is about as far as I got 0_o At least Honey Bear and I can now walk about four miles without even being tired! ^_^ Yay ^_^ At the first of the year less than one mile and we were worn out ^_~' My dog and I will be in good shape by next year I hope! ^_^

This year! ^_^ So I need some new goals for this year… I have given it some thought and here goes:

Cosplay Goals:
- To finish my May costume before Animazement
- To finally make my dream Belldandy costume before the end of 2007 ^_^
- I want to make a few other costumes maybe but I haven’t decided what characters ^-^’

Video Game Goals:
- To beat Children of Mana
- To finally buy a new DDR game! ^_^ *lol* I still have my super old playstation one I’d like to have one of the PS2 versions. I need some new songs to dace to and it makes a fun workout ^_^ Maybe I would actually work out if it was fun ^-^’ Then Amy and I would have new songs for Team DDR ^_~

Personal:
- To once again attempt to be healthier ^-^’ I even need to give Honey Bear more walks ^_^’
- To have more fun even when in school ^_~ this past year I just didn’t give myself a lot of fun moments. I was so busy studying I forgot that I need to have fun as well ^_^ Being focused is good but I find I focus better when relaxed a little ^_^
- Try to do more nice things for my friends. I think this goes with the other one too. I get so busy with work I sometimes don’t give enough attention to the people who are most important to me. Thankfully, I have had the sweetest friends ever and everyone has always been very supportive of my school work. Thank you ^-^ *huggles*

End of goals! ^_^ I think that will be enough to keep me busy for a year ^_^

Well, I'm really sleepy so that must mean it is time for me to go to dream land ^_^ I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and will have a very happy new year! ^_^ Hope to see you in 2007! ^_^

Okay, so I am not officially finished with my classes until Tuesday but all my projects are handed in so I feel good! ^_^ On Tuesday all I have to do is show up and watch everyone who hasn't give their presentation yet so watching will be fun ^_^ Yay I am on break until the January 8th I think… but I’m trying not to think about my next set of classes since I just finished up these ^_~ Wow… it has been a long year without a break 0_o I went all summer this year too.

Also, good news ^_^ CosplayAngel.com is not lost forever thanks to a very very dear and wonderful friend ^_^ Thank you to Russ ^_^

Hey! ^_^ How is everyone doing? ^_^ Everything here is good I just wish I had more time to work on stuff 0_O My May and Miaka costume is still sitting with my sew stuff wanting me to finish them. I can't wait to have the costumes finished! ^_^ Then I get to start on a new one ^_~

Sadly, final projects are coming due so I have been working on that all weekend. I think I will take Honey Bear to the park today to relax a little ^_^ I need a break from school stuff. One of my teacher's hasn't even given us our final project yet due to a death in her family she has been preoccupied which is completely understandable. I'm concerned it will be hard to complete the final project in time because we don't have many classes left. Oh well ^_^ only a few more weeks and I have a break! Yay ^_^

For anyone who doesn't know Deep Discount dvd is running their 20% off sale!! ^_^ Which is great but I already almost finished my Christmas shopping :( I could have gotten some nice gifts. I like what I bought but oh well ^_^ I might get my brother one more little gift since they are running a big sale ^_^ I still have some money left to get a few more gifts ^_^ If anyone needs to do some shopping they have wonderful prices ^_^ No they do not pay me to write ads for them ^_~ I always add one new movie to my Christmas collection each year and I think I'm going to order How the Grinch Stole Christmas ^_^ Such a great classic ^_^

Okay! ^_^ Well I have good news ^_^ My website is actaully starting to look like something again ^_~ My brother showed me this cool new program called WebPress ^_^ So it is really a blogging software but I thought wouldn't it be fun to make a website in it!! ^_^ I like LJ so much and I find it really easy to use, well it seemed like a good idea at the time ^_~

Editing the look of a WebPress page is done totally in CSS... and well it has been a very long time since my CSS class 0_o However, with some studying and work the site is coming together ^_^ at the moment I'm happy with the look although there are some more features that I would like to add ^_^' So without waiting to long ^_~ Everyone check it out and let me know what you think ^_^

I really should not be on the computer this late I need sleep... *lol* As most people know I am not a night person ^_~

This weekend has been busy with just lots of stuff most it being school work and a lot of Saturday was work and my mom and I driving around lost half the day ^_~ We went to this really cool little place out in the middle of no where that sells amazing home made candy ^_^ Their main business is mail order but they have a little store front too. It took us an hour to get there when it was only about 30 or so minutes away :P The place is hard to find and I think Map Quest made it worse. We gave up on map quest and found the place through guessing ^_^' That is how mean Map Quest can be but I don't really blame it... the place was hard to find ^_^ It was worth it to get yummmie candy though!!! ^_^

On to something interesting! ^_^ After all the stuff I did this weekend I did manage to get something on my website up 0_O Which is why I am up so late. At the moment only the Making page is up but it is a start!! ^_^ *hopeful*

Now onto picture time! ^_^ I wanted some new pictures for the site but I haven't finished any new costumes lately ~_~' I have been so busy with school work and other stuff and family stuff and blah ^_^ life. Ok, well I try never to make a big of things that aren't important in the grand scheme of things but having my website down has really been bumming me out lately ~_~ I haven't had anyone to talk to about it so I will say something here... I'm sad *sniffle* I think most people would think it is silly to be sad about a domain name Oh well maybe only a geek would understand ^_^' I guess it is okay to be sad for a few days. ^_^

Since I had so much school stuff to do I didn't get to go help out at the no kill shelter function today :( They called and asked me to help they were going out with some animals at an event. School is giving my cabin fever I spend all my time working on projects and if it isn't school I'm working 0_o *lol* One the guys at school told me that I really need to get out more ^_^' I think I agree but first I have to get caught up on assignments so I don't get behind I'm still a geek at heart :P Life has been kind of dull lately. I need to find a little excitement ^_^'

In good news though!! ^_^ CosplayDollfie.com is back online! ^_^ It is updated with the new dollfie hat too ^_^

In even more good news I bought another cosplay site domain name the other day ^_^ There isn't much up other than a place holder page but the site is iheartcosplay.com Hopefully, in a few days I will have my website back up!! ^_^ I just need to work on a new design ^-^' At the moment I'm not sure what colors I want.

No class today! Yay ^_^ Well, sort of no class :P The teacher gave us tons and tons of work that has to be done outside of class so she gave us a day to work on it ^_^ Sadly, I didn't even work on my stuff for that class because I so much work in my other classes... *sigh* ^_^ At least school doesn't let me be bored :D

On to fun stuff! ^_^ I have a new video game ^_^ I know I need to be playing Kingdom Hearts 2 so I can actually see the ending :( I am giving myself a deadline :) I have to beat the game by New Years! ^_^ I think I can make it. Anyway, the new game is Cooking Mama ^_^ a very sweet friend of mine sent it to me ^_^ the game is so much fun and totally addictive 0_o I like it because I can play it for a few minutes as a break complete a few dishes and get back to work ^_^ When I play Kingdom Hearts it is always an hour or much more at a time the game sucks me *_* With Cooking Mama I just pick it up and have a little fun at a time ^_^ It is great for long waits. I was at the movies over the weekend and it was fun to play while waiting for the movie to start :D Normally, I would have talked to everyone and not played a game but my voice is gone :( So yeah the DS and Cooking Mama helped me not be sad since I couldn't join in on the conversation with everyone. ^_^

I bought the stuff to make Cooking Mama's little costume because I thought it would be a fun easy little costume but I can't post any pictures anymore without my website. :( It feels weird not having it *_*

Ok, so just to let everyone know I am still alive despite the fact the fact my website is not :( Normally, the domain people will let me pay it but at the moment they are being picky and not letting me pay for my domain name ~_~’

Jack if you happen to check your email or read this I just need a way to log in and pay for it. Jack has been soooo amazingly nice to look after my domain for so long :( I feel bad asking for another favor *_* I will make you a cute hat though if you want one to say thank you! ^_^
